We’re totally thrilled to be hosting an Etsy Craft Party in Edinburgh, Scotland and we’d love to invite you all to join us!
You’re invited to Etsy Craft Party 2014: Recapture, Bring new meaning to your photographs. Etsy Craft Party is a one-day celebration of meeting and making. This year’s theme focuses on transforming photographs into display-worthy works of art using a variety of craft supplies and creative techniques.
Our Edinburgh Etsy Craft Party is going to be a night to remember! Etsy is holding Craft Parties all around the world on the 6th June, where each team will be crafting up a storm by re-vamping old photographs through stitching and painting… You don’t need to have any experience, you just need to get ready to have a lot of fun! We’ll be providing materials (please bring any photographs you’d like to use for this project, or scans and reprints), some light refreshments and have lots of exciting things in store for our evening. If you love to craft and would like to meet some like-minded makers, this is a night not to miss…
We have lots of plans in the pipeline for our exclusive party and we currently have only 25 tickets available… they’re going really fast too! In order to get some craft materials from Etsy to help us along and make the event more spectacular, we need your help! Please sign up and get your ticket before the 9th May… If you’ve never used Etsy before, please register to the site before you order your tickets (signing up is free and only takes two ticks!)

Tickets: £5 per person
Our event is non-profit; the payment made will used to purely to cover the costs of the space, materials and refreshments. Hopefully we will be able to get 25 applicants before the 9th May so as to get help from Etsy to cover costs from materials, meaning more money for drinks and donuts! Any surplus money remaining from the event will be donated to a local charity 🙂
You don’t have to be local to be able to attend our event, you just need to be able to turn up for the party 🙂 Myself, Zyzanna and Fiona Heather will be hosting the night and we have lots of ideas for goodie bags and prizes… it’s going to be quirky, creative and CRAFT-TASTIC!
